Please choose a Frequently Asked Question (FAQ)

How Much do your Maine Coon Kittens Cost?

Our fully pedigreed Healthy, Affordable, and Adorable Maine Coon Kittens are priced by the litter. This is all dependent on many factors such as; confirmation and show quality, color and markings, and more. Our Maine Coon Kittens are bred to high ethical standards and proper bloodline matching and genetic testing. They are raised in our home as part of our family with grandchildren and dogs. These kittens are highly affordable considering the quality of the bloodlines they carry, MajestiCoon bloodlines have been bred for nearly 40 years with no known genetic issues. We don’t just put a male and female together and sell kittens. That would be in our opinion irresponsible to the breed and an unethical way to do business. OptiCoons and MajestiCoons kittens start at $3,000 and up with a 5 year health guarantee Join our RESERVATION LIST – Click Here, The reservation list will ensure you a kitten from the next litter.

How do I reserve a Kitten, what’s required?

Kittens are reserved with a deposit established at the time of reservations based on the total price, deposits and payments are non-refundable. We accept PayPal, and cash, credit & debit cards; Deposits must be received before a kitten is considered reserved. All fees associated with the payment must be covered by the buyer so the seller receives the full deposit. When picking up your kitten the remaining balance is due. Refer to your contract for complete details as terms and conditions may change from contract to contract.

PLEASE NOTE: Pickup or shipping details will be arranged based on the needs of the family with consideration to our OptiCoons and MajestiCoons Catteries needs as well.

We recommend that you also watch our Facebook page for kitten updates and availability. Once the kitten’s pictures are posted they are available for reservation.

Do you sell breeding rights?

No, as a general rule sorry we do not, all of our kittens are sold as pet only /non-breeding. On occasion, based on bloodlines we may trade or sell to fully qualified breeders.

Do you provide shipping or delivery?

Yes, we can provide shipping nationwide, and costs can be quoted. We can also arrange personal delivery to your closest major airport. Please reach out to us to discuss this in more detail.

Is Spay and Neuter included in the price of your kittens?

Yes,  as of June 2022, ALL NEW contracts will include Spay and Neuter in the final price of the kitten. Prior to June 2022, it is still up to the buyer to have their kitten spayed or neutered between typically around 9- 12 months of age. Maine coon cats grow until 3 years of age or longer.  Kittens are not sold with breeding rights unless otherwise agreed upon and only to qualified buyers.

Why do we have to Spay or Neuter our Kitten once they reach sexual maturity or go into heat?

The Maine Coons and all female cats can get a uterine infection called Pyometra. This often happens after a female has too many heat cycles without breeding. This is a fatal infection and can require an emergency spay.

So it’s important for the health of your cat that you spay her after her first heat cycle or under the advice of your veterinarian. Males should be left intact as long as possible to get the best size. They become sexually mature around 12 months of age. Spay and Neuter will not stop all growth and your cat will continue to grow until 3 years of age and sometimes up to 5 years.

As of June 2022, all Pet kittens will be spayed or neutered prior to going home.

Do your kittens come with a Veterinary Exam, Vaccines and Records?

Your kitten will get his or her age appropriate vaccines before coming home. You will be provided with all the veterinary documents we have including the required State of Florida  Health Certificate. Kittens will be dewormed as a precautionary measure. All kittens are also FELV and FIV negative at the time of leaving our cattery.

All our adult breeding cats are negative for all feline diseases including HCM, SMA, and PKdef.

It will be the new owner’s responsibility to finish the kitten’s remaining booster shot and rabies shot. Rabies vaccine may be given after the kitten is 16 weeks old. All kittens are veterinarian checked before leaving our home and going to yours. All kittens come with a copy of that veterinary record.

Are your Kittens Registered?

Your kitten will be registered with its litter at birth with TICA under one of our catteries, either OptiCoons or MajestiCoons. You will receive your registration documentation after proof of spay or neuter has been provided to OptiCoons. Spaying and neutering are the financial responsibility of the new family. You may then register the kitten under your name. For more details please contact us.
